Pleuratus ostreatus was used for two treatments of dried, chopped wheat and paddy straws (25g) using 438 nig N & 47 mg S (A); 876 mg N & 94 mg S(B). N & S were provided through urea & ammonium sulphate along with 50% moisture. With increase on N & S level, the CP increased (P< 0.05) to the extent of 168.85 % and 114.30% and the in vitro DM digestibility (IVDMD) increased (P<0.05) to the extent of 17.43% and 10.17% for wheat and paddy straws respectively. There was improvement in the nutritive value of straws in terms of CP and IVDMD increase in treatment B.
