Biul (Grewia optiva) leaves lopped in December in northern Indian plains were fed ad libitum to 5 adutls Newzealand white rabbits. Mean DM intake 6.85 ± 0.20 kg/100 kg body weight was equivalent to 74.86± 2.77 g/kg w0.75. The digestibility coefficients of CP and NFE were satisfactory while those for other nutrients were low. Average DCP and TDN contents in DM of biul leaves for rabbits were 9.60 ± 0.48 and 44.47 ± 2.35 per cent, respectively. Calculated value of DE was 1.96 Mcal/kg DM. Rabbits could not maintain body weight during 3 wks of experimental feeding.
