Abstract
Six Barbarl bucks (6 m; 20kg) were fed subabul (Leucaena leucocephala) hay (19.68% CP) as a sole feed. The average DM consumption was 48.10±0.049/kg body weight. The digestibilities of organic nutrients were satisfactory and the balances of N, Ca and P were positive in all the experimental bucks. The DCP and TDN vaaues were e1,4.44 and 54.64%.(on DM basis) respectively. The nutritive ratio was 1: 2.78.
