Based on their amounts and relative interactions, their relative superiority as animal feed was evaluated. In genera), crop residues of monocotyl dons are superior to those of dicotyldons. In decreasing order of the feeding quality, the ranking was : Heteropogan contortus, dry grass, maize cote, Jovvar (sorghum vulgare))sover, sugarcane bagasse, maize etover, cotton seed hulls, Sehima nervosum dry grass, cotton straw, sunflower straw and groundnut bulls.
