Abstract

Twelve Murrah heifers (2 yrs,.230+48 kg) were randomly divided into three equal groups and fed rationscontalning 0 (T1), 15 (T2))nd 33 (T3) per cent dried poultry droppings (DPD) respectively for 90 d. The differences in voluntary DM intake and digestibility coefficients of various nutrients among the treatment groups were not significantt The DCP and TDN intake/100 kg body weight was slso oot signififant. The TDN, DE, ME intake kea protein energy ratio of the three rations were comparable with requirements for Indian buffaloes. The ADK in three treatment groups of buffalo heifers also did not differ significantly. The feed efficiency (kg/DM kg gain) was 12.85±3.57, 12.52±3.23 and 12.55+3.02 in T1, T2 and T3 respectively (P>0.05).
