A growth-cum-digestion trial was conducted for a period of 115 d on crossbred (Black Bengalx Beetal) kids (3m; 8-14 kg) randomly divided into 4 equal groups fed concentrate mixture where 0 (T0), 20 (T1), 40 (T1) and 60 (T3) percent CP of groundnut cake replaced with crushed Faba bean seeds. No significant differences amongst treatments were observed with respect to DM intake, body weight gains, digestibility coefficients of DM, CP, EE and NFE, blood glucose, serum protein, serum urea and serum GOT. It was inferred that faba bean could replace upto 40 per cent CP of groundnut cake in the rations of grwoing kids.
