208 Keggbro broiler chicks were randomly distributed into 2 equal groups and fed diets containing 18.6% CP and adequate energy with 0 ((Jpl) or 0.75 percent (Gp 2) level of Novozyme SP 243 for 8 wks. The weight gain was significantly better in the gp 2 as compared to gp I at 8 wks of age with corresponding feed : gain ratios of 3.28 in gp 1 and 2.85 in gp 2. It appeared that the novozyine acted in a manner that more energy was available to chicks in gp 2.
