Flavomycin-40 was included in broiler diets at 0 and 10 g/100kg diet in experiments 1 and 2 and at 0, 10, 20 and 30 g/100kgdiet in experiment 3. Signifinant (P<0.05))mprovement in weight gains was observed up to 5 and 6 wks of age in experiments 1 and 2 respectively and up to 5 wks of age in experiment 3. Neither feed intake nor the feed:gain was affected in experiments 1 and 2. However, the feed intake in experiment 3 increased significantly (P<0.05) with the inclusion of Klavomycin-40 in the diet at higher levels.
