A 20-wk feeding trial to investigate the nutritive value of sorghum concentrated steep liquor (SCSL) and sorghum glucose mud (SGM) were used to make feed blocks for dairy cows, On as led basis the blocks contained 55% SCSL, 15%- SGM 16% wheat bran, 13% peanut hulls and 1% lommon salt. The control group (9 cows) were fed a concentrate mixture (55% sorghum grain, 25% sunflower seed meal, 19% wheat bran and 1% salt) at the rale of 1.0 kg/2.0 kg milk vield, whereas the 9 cows o(the test group had a tree access to the feed blocks. Ad Libitum sorghum fodder was offered to both groups. The average total daily DMI of the experimental groups was 17.4 kg. The mean daily 4% FCM yield of control and test group was 16.0 and 16.3 kg, respectively. It is concluded that the SCSL and SGM lonlaining teed hlocks can be substituted for clairy cows.
