Nine Cross bred dairy heifers (2- 2½ yrs 180-280 kg) divided into 3 groups of 3-each and were fed on O (T1), S (T2) and 10% (T3) corn cob heart containing concentrate mixture in a 3X3 Latin Square design for a period of 90 d. Sorggum stover was fed ad libitum along with 0.5 kg berseem hay and 1.75 kg concentrate mixture. Inclusion of corn cob heart In the concentrate mixture had no effect on digestibility of DM and its nutrient, except CF which was higher (P > 0.05) in T3 than T1 and T2. The differences in DM intake, TDN intakes and DCP intakes between treatments were non-significant. All animals had positive N balance and gained in body weight to show no difference between treatments.
