A pre-experimental research design was adopted to assess the effectiveness of self-instructional module on lifestyle modifications among post-operative coronary artery bypass graft patients of Sunshine Hospital, Secunderabad. 50 samples were selected using non-probability convenient sampling technique. The study's conceptual framework was built on Imogene King's goal Attainment theory for achieving the study's objective. Self-structured questionnaires was used to collect the data. The study shows that the pre-test knowledge scores was 7.52 and the post-test knowledge scores was 21.96. The paired “t” value was 15.13, p<0.05 level of significance. The study shows a significant increase in the knowledge of the patients after the administration of the self-instructional module. There was a significant association between occupation and post-test knowledge scores. The study will be useful in helping to create more awareness regarding lifestyle modifications among post-operative coronary artery bypass graft and researchers can conduct similar study on a large scale basis and comparative basis to add to the existing literature.
