The objectives of this study were to assess the knowledge regarding Basic Life Support among Traffic police, to assess the attitude towards the Basic Life Support among Traffic Police, to correlate the knowledge and attitude regarding the basic life support among traffic police, to find out the association of knowledge regarding Basic life support among traffic police with their selected demographic variables, To find out the association of attitude towards Basic life support among traffic police with their selected demographic variables.
The study was conducted among 100 traffic police of Ahmedabad District.
The research approach used in the study was quantitative research approach, descriptive survey research design and the sampling technique was non-probability convenient sampling technique.
The Knowledge of the samples was collected, using the Structured Knowledge Questionnaire and the attitude of the samples were assessed, using attitude scale.
The results of the study showed that Knowledge Score is (12.99±2.37) and the attitude score is (18.07±6.61). It was also found that, there was no association between Pre-test level of knowledge, and selected Socio-Personal variables.
