The inorganic phosphorus, magnesium, sodium and potassium contents of milk in crossbred (Jersey × Assam Local) dairy cows were significantly (P<0.01) high during the late period i.e. 105 to 300 days of lactation. However, copper and iron contents in milk were significantly (P<0.01) higher at the beginning of the lactation i.e. 15 to 90 days as compared to the late period i.e. 105 to 300 days of lactation. Although manganese and zinc contents in milk did not differ significantly between these two periods, it appears to be high at the beginning of lactation.
