The body weight records of 6847 progenies of pigs over a period of 17 years from 1982 to 1998 were analysed. Body weights were recorded at birth and thereafter at 2 weekly interval upto weaning (56 days). Inbreeding combinations, litter size at birth and birth weight group had highly significant effect on body weight at all the ages under study except at birth for inbreeding combinations. Significantly highest body weights were recorded at all the ages in non-inbred group of piglets. In general, body weight was negatively correlated with the litter size at birth of their dam and positively correlated with their birth weight group.
