Based on kidding records of 471 Beetal goats it was found that each doe on an average had 2.50±0.09 kiddings during its productive flock life of 2.2±0.08 years and longevity of 4.6±0.10 years in the flock. Out of the total kiddings 1.28±0.06 were the multiple kiddings and 3.80±0.13 alive kids were produced. The number of female kids were 1.92±0.082 out of which 1.03±0.08 reached age at first kidding. It was further observed that 6.3% goats could not produce any alive kids, 22.3% could not have any female kid and 47.1% failed to replace themselves. The effect of buck was found highly significant on all the traits except longevity. The heritability estimates were found medium to high for all the traits except logevity for which the estimate was close to zero.
