The study was conducted at the Namakkal block in Tamil Nadu for estimating the technological needs of farmers in feeds and feeding management of poultry. The technological needs identified were, feed quality control methodology and regulation, feed toxin identification, prevention and curative techniques, low cost technique for quality own feed, quality raw materials price stabilizing techniques, company feed cost reduction methodology and feed wastage minimizing techniques.
