Abstract

The present study was conducted in Bangalore North taluka following expost facto research design. In this taluka Haniyuru village was purposively selected being the adopted village of Veterinary College, Bangalore, Karnataka Veterinary Animal and Fisheries Sciences University. Data were collected from a total of 100 farmers selected randomly from the village. Data were collected through face-to-face interview and was subjected to analysis. Majority of the livestock farmers had medium to low profile. Majority of the respondents had medium knowledge and medium extent of adoption in dairy management practices, where as low knowledge level and low extent of adoption in sheep, goat and poultry management practices.
