PCR-RFLP with AluI restriction enzyme in TLR4 gene of Sahiwal cattle

Toll like Receptor 4 gene(TLR4)is a cell-surface receptor that recognizes a broad class of pathogena-ssociated molecular patterns, activates innate and adaptive immune responses, and plays an important role in pathogen defense. In 190 Sahiwal cattle PCR-RFLP technique was carried out with the help of Alu I restriction enzyme. In 190 Sahiwal cattle PCR-RFLP technique was carried out with the help of Alu I restriction enzyme. Monomorphic patterns were detected in the primers 3.1, 3.5 and 3.6 of TLR4 gene in 190 Sahiwal cattle.
