Abstract

Field experiment was conducted with determinate and semldetermlnate soybean genotypes to study the effect of growth regulators on NR activity, chlorophyll content, rate of photosynthesis, growth and yield. The growth regulator treatments improved aU the parameters and the effect was seen more in determinate genotype. The seed yield was significantly higher with TIBA (50 ppm) application followed by MC (100 ppm) and CCC (250 ppm) which was associated with higher number of pods and seeds per plant.
