Ten genotypes of yellow sarson (Brassica campestris Linn. var yellow sarson were tested at three locations to evaluate the stability for 7 characters. The pooled analysis of variance showed differential behaviour of genotypes over the environments. Variation due to genotypes (G), environments (E) and GxE interactions are significant for most of the characters and a large portion of the interaction was due to linear regression. Significant GxE interactions (linear) indicated differential response of the varieties to changing environments. Environment + (GxE) was significant for all the characters except 1000-seed weight. None of the genotypes was stable for all the characters evaluated. The genotypes AJ14, AJL17, V1D-1 and YSIK-80 were found to be stable for seed yield/plant, secondary branches/plant and 1000-seed weight owing to the high mean value, unit regression and non-significant S2di. These genotypes could be utilized for developing high yielding stable yellow sarson genotypes.
