A field experiment was conducted during 2003–04 to 2005–06 to find out suitable spacing and fertilizer dose for cotton variety AKH-8828. Significantly higher seed cotton yield (1671 kg ha−1) was recorded in closer spacing (60 × 30 cm) than wider spacing (60 × 45 cm) while growth parameters and yield contributing characters were found superior under wider spacing than closer spacing except plant height which showed reverse trend. Graded levels of fertilizer increased seed cotton yield, growth parameters and yield contributing characters. Seed cotton yield increased significantly up to 50:25:0 NPK kg ha−1.
