An experiment was conducted during kharif of 2007 and 2008 to study the infestation of shoot and fruit borer, Earias vittella (Fab.) on okra c.v. Kashi Pragati (VRO -6). The mean data of 2007 and 2008 showed that the minimum shoot borer infestation 21.4% was recorded in the treatment NSKE 5% followed by the treatment NSKE 5% + cow urine 5% (24.0%) and the maximum infestation 35.6% was observed in cow dung extract 5% + cow urine 5% plot followed by cow dung extract 5% alone (34.9). The mean of 2007 and 2008 for the fruit borer infestation showed the minimum borer infestation of 18.9% in the treatment NSKE 5% followed by the treatment NSKE 5% + cow urine 5% (20.8%) and the maximum infestation of 41.7% was observed in cow dung extract 5% + cow urine 5% plot followed by cow dung extract 5% alone (34.3%).
