A field experiment was conducted on loamy sand soils of during 2012–13. Plant height was recorded significantly higher in variety Gujarat Val 1 when sown on 15th October at 30 cm row spacing. All the growth and yield attributing characters such as number of primary and secondary branches per plant, number of nodules per plant, dry weight of nodules per plant, dry matter accumulation per plant at 30, 60 and 90 DAS as well as at harvest, days required to maturity, number of pods per plant, number of grains per pod, length of pod, seed yield per plant and 100 – seed weight noticed significantly higher when crop was sown on 15th October at 60 cm row spacing using variety Gujarat Val 1. Seed yield and B:C ratio of Indian bean significantly affected with sowing dates, row spacings and varieties.
