Expert System (ES) is an intelligent computer program help to systematize, store and obtain appropriate medical knowledge needed by the practitioner/doctors in dealing with each complicated case and suggesting suitable diagnosis for decision-making procedure and fuzzy expert system has already proved its importance in medical field. In this paper, we presents the review of past work that has been carried out by various researchers based on fuzzy expert systems for the diagnosis of different types of disease.
