Dynamic railway traffic management needs accurate time/location estimates on the fly in order to work efficiently. In this student project, we use the permutation based algorithm proposed by Ton J.J. van den Boom et al.[1] to achieve efficient traffic control management. A switching max-plus linear system was proposed by them[1]. Our goal was to build a simple piece of software that is based on their methodology. We finally present the results from our simulation.
