Abstract

Agriculture is not only the backbone of our food, livelihood and ecological security system, but is also the very soul of our power. In Haryana population is increasing day by day and agricultural land has been decreasing because of fragmenting or converting it into residential plots. To meet the domestic food requirements use of improved production technologies, fertilizers, biocides, improved seeds, mechanization etc. is must for which financial requirements of the farming sector have increased extremely. Therefore objective of the paper is to see impact of agriculture credit on resource inputs use in Haryana. Primary data regarding this study were collected through a well structured questionnaire. At the end it was concluded that availability of credit lead to more use of resource inputs ultimately which increase the agricultural production.
