Abstract

The presence study gives emphasis on the importance of parental involvement in the development of the child. The finding of the study is expected to be helpful in providing guidelines to the teachers and parents. It emphasizes the importance of the children bearing influence on the academic achievement or performance of the children. Since the present study aim at finding the nature of relationship between parental involvement and academic achievement of senior secondary students, it would be of great interest to them to check up their motivation process and to help them in their academic excellence.
