Discourse Analysis of Classroom Language Among English, Science and History Teachers

The study was conducted to analyze the common classroom discourses in the Institute of Arts and Sciences of the Kalinga-Apayao State College with the following specific objectives: Tape-recorded classroom interaction of twelve classes were observed consisting of four (4) English Classes, four (4) Science Classes, and four (4) History Classes. These classes were observed for three consecutive meetings. Mitchell's List of Teacher's communication was employed in the analysis of data.
