A festival is an event ordinarily stage by a community, centering on some unique aspect of that community and its traditions often marked as a local or national holiday. They are mostly celebrated to promulgate the cultural heritage of nations thus highlights various aspects of a society. Matagoan Festival showcases the vast cultural traditions of the City of Tabuk as well as native products of the various indigenous communities of the city. This descriptive research focused on the assessment of the 2014th Matagoan Festival of the City of Tabuk.
The study delved into the level of attainment of the objectives of the 2014th Matagoan Festival and the degree of seriousness of the problems encountered in the celebration of the festival. The study revealed that the objectives of the 2014th Matagoan Festival are very much attained while the problems encountered in the celebration of the Matagoan Festival are very much serious.
