Objective of this research paper is to assess team work competency of Aspiring Managers.
300 Respondents were selected by using random sampling method from various parts of Haryana. Structured questionnaire was designed to assess team work competency of aspiring managers. Statistical tools like mean, t-test, F-test (ANOVA) were applied on the data using SPSS.
From the results it is apparent that demographic variables like age, gender, income, education, marital status etc. are not found to be significantly differentiating the various groups of respondents while analyzing team work competency of Aspiring Managers.
It is obvious that aspiring managers from Haryana are at the average level for team work competency, which indicates some limitation with the current system of education. It focuses more on theoretical learning rather than practical learning. This limitation may be overcome by making the professional education more industry oriented, mentoring, role playing, developing team skills and soft skills etc.
