A mobile agent is a self-contained software element responsible for executing a programmatic process, which is capable of autonomously migrating through a network. This paper discusses the design goals of a secure and reliable mobile agent framework and proposes a generic secure and reliable framework. In proposed approach the agent saves partial results with its execution state at home server. The proposed framework consists of five phases: pre-processing phase, launching phase, execution phase, state saving phase and commit/rollback phase.
