Abstract

The present investigation deals with the magnetohydrodynamic flow behaviour of a viscous, incompressible and electrically conducting dusty fluid between two infinite parallel porous plates. The dust particles in the fluid are assumed to be uniformly distributed. The flow is subjected to a transverse magnetic field on the lower porous plate along with a pressure gradient varying linearly with time. The fluid enters the flow region through the lower porous plate. The velocities of the fluid and the dust particles are observed to decrease with an increase of magnetic parameter, injection parameter and mass concentration while it is just reversed in case of an increase of time. It is also observed that the velocity of fluid particles is more than that of the dust particles. The back flow is also observed for both the fluid and dust particles in the case of mass concentration, injection and time.
