Abstract

In today’s fast-moving world social media has a huge role to play. It has given a platform to the people who wants to express their opinion on different issues. The power of social media is undeniable today. But with power comes responsibility. Are the people on social media careful enough when it comes to practicing literature? This paper would be discussing the role of social media in creation and promotion of new literary content especially from India. It would also focus on the issues of content theft and plagiarism and if social media is offering the new generation a platform from where a new era of literary style would start.
