Ethyl acetate, chloroform, acetone, hexane, cold and hot water, methanol, ethanol and hot methanolic and hot ethanolic extract of leaves, flower, stem of Lantana camara in a final concentration of 100mg/ml and fresh extract were evaluated for their antibacterial activity against bacterial pathogenic microorganisms such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli using agar well diffusion method. Hot water extract, Cold water, ethyl acetate, ethanolic and hot methanolic extracts of Leaf of Lantana camara shows best inhibitory zone of diameter of 19.5mm against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, 12.5mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 10.5mm against S.aureus respectively which shows that best result having zone of inhibition lesser than that of tetracycline. Cold water, ethyl acetate, ethanolic and hot methanolic extract of flower of Lantana camara gave the zone of inhibition 16.5mm, 10.5mm, 15mm, 11mm against S.aureus.The hot water, cold water, ethyl acetate, ethanolic, acetone, methanolic extract of stem Lantana camara gave the zone of 22 mm, 14.5mm, 15mm, 12.5mm against S.aureus.
