Abstract

This study was carried out to investigate the Length-weight relationship a and Condition factor of Tympanotonus fuscata from Forcados River. The samples were collected monthly between February 2016 and April, 2016. The length-weight relationship was calculated using the least square regression on log transformed data. The parameter ‘a’ ranged from -1.710 - -13.307. The b values ranged from 3.722 –– 5.190 indicating positive allometric growth pattern. The mean condition factor (k) was 66.72 and 9.60. The length-weight relationship parameters of Tympanotonus fuscata in Forcados River revealed a strong association between the length and weight.
