The occurrence of bird aspergillosis was studied in a private poultry farm at Ismailia, Egypt. The diseased birds (chicken) showed lack of appetite, appeared silent at its site, very easy to capture and never trying to escape, these symptoms often ends with sudden death. The gross pathological examination of the diseased birds revealed the presence of congested and haemorrhagic lungs, enlargement and pale color of their livers. Aspergillus flavus was mostly recovered from the infected lungs of all birds and livers of two birds, while Aspergillus fumigatus was isolated from lungs and liver of only one bird. The histopathological examination reveled the presence of granuloma, necrotic foci with fungal mycelium in their lungs and livers. The results were elucidated and discussed.
