RNAi is a Post transcriptional gene control mechanism induced by a double stranded RNA in the cytoplasm and is widely exploited for antiviral and cancer therapy. RNA vaccines are RNA molecules coding for antigenic peptides, which activates the immune system when translated. The RNAi and RNA vaccines are considered as distinct mechanisms however the two methods can be combined for tackling viral diseases efficiently. This method is employed with Dengue virus type 3 isolate PhMH-JI-97 as model strain. In silico methods were used for finding the targets of RNAi. Reverse Vaccinology procedures were used to find antigenic peptides. Cross reactivity with normal genes is also checked. Four nucleotide sequences were predicted and reported. They are predicted to mitigate the disease either by acting as Vaccines or by RNAi mechanism.
