General agreement on trade in services: an analysis of obligations and commitments

With the growing importance of services and trade in services, the importance of GATS can not be overemphasised. This paper is an attempt to analyse the general obligations and specific commitments regarding trade in services and to understand the making of a Schedule under GATS provisions and the intricacies involved in the making of a Schedule in a simplified manner.
