“Corporate environmental social responsibility (CESR)”

Corporate social responsibility of business has become a favourite topic of discussion for businessmen, academicians, politician and social organizations. It includes operational social, economic and environmental aspects of social responsibility practices followed by corporate. This study investigates views of corporate employees about the environmental social responsibility practices of Private Sector Corporate Units (PSCUs) in Odisha. The study also examines whether the responses on these topics differ among different groups of employees under study. For the purpose of confidentiality we are not mentioning the names of corporate units. The survey result shows that to fulfill the environmental social responsibility firm should reduce water use, use of environmental friendly technology, prevention of bio-diversity and reduce energy use.
