Globalization has led the technological revolution in a big way. The world is experiencing a pattern of technological advance and that has ushered in a period of jobless growth. The problem of unemployment arises when an adequate response by way of a change in the composition of labour supply is presented either by lack of access to training and’ education or by an attempt to protect the employment of low demand categories of labour by inappropriate forms of intervention. The present paper analyses the effect of globalization on employment sector in India and policies needed to encourage those sectors in which employment opportunities are explored
