Abstract

Information system and information technology are nowadays pronounced in the same breath. Information is gaining importance over other resources and managing an industry is almost as good as managing the information for control and decision making. The information systems involved are continuously interacting with the internal and external environment for obvious reasons. This makes the information systems and the information resources prone to errors and risks which might lead to disasters. This paper focuses on the state of affairs that shall be considered as control strategy for fortification of the system and information resources as a whole and insinuate the recovery and planning procedures for the information system environment.
