Abstract

This study is attempted to know about few of the factors which influence the job satisfaction among software professionals. The study has been conducted on software institutions located within the jurisdiction of IT park, Chennai. Sample size of software professionals is 100. Primary data have been collected by the researcher. The researcher identified the major influencing factors ie. Sex of the employee, experience, treatment by supervisors, work environment and emotional intelligence contribute to the employees job satisfaction.
