Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is an important crop in the world, used as vegetable throughout the year and it suffers from various diseases caused by both biotic and abiotic agents. Early blight of potato caused by Alternaria solani (Ell. & Martin) Jones & Grout, is more common and causing destructive foliar diseases of potato in West Bengal. Early blight disease incidence (%) and its severity (AUDPC) were reduced through different level of fertilizers combination in diverse fertility gradient of soil. The experiments were carried out by 13 treatments combination including untreated control (S0N0P0K0) with four different soil fertility gradient. Kufri jyoti was selected as test variety for the experiment. The lowest disease severity (AUDPC) was recorded in S4N250P125K150 (1.6%) followed by S2N250P125K150 (1.9%) and S3N250P125K150 (2.1%), which was statistically at par with S1N250P125K150 (2.3%). The highest tuber yield (337.9 qha−1) and biomass fresh weight (771.8 kgha−1) was recorded in S4N250P125K150 and was found significantly superior to other treatments combination and untreated control.
