We obtain a numerically implementable transient solution for the system size in an M/M/1 queue with instantaneous Bernoulli feedback using continued fractions which is very simple and easy to calculate analytically. The steady state probability of the system size and certain performance measures are deduced. Further, Busy period analysis for this model has been carried out using continued fractions methodology. Finally numerical illustrations are provided using Gauss-Legendre technique with MAPLE software.
