Abstract

Dental professionals goal is to help and educate the patient, how to avoid them from entering into cycle of tissue amputation and periodic filling replacement. The bacteria that cause tooth decay are often found deep within the tooth structure. Antibiotics and other pharmaceutical agents cannot penetrate deep enough through bacterial pellicle and tooth structure to eliminate acid niche environment. Dental ozone is completely a new way to look at decay. This technique is based on sound engineering principles. The treatment is simple, inexpensive, and requires no injection of anesthesia. The use of ozone in dental practice takes dental care to new heights and sets modern pharmaceuticals method to treat patients in both dental and medical practice.
