The diseases affecting the oral cavity are of soft tissue or hard tissue in origin. Most of the intraoral soft tissue enlargements are usually focal/isolated arising as a result of reactive hyperplasia and are rarely neoplastic in origin. Even though very common in occurrence, the diagnosis of these enlargements is challenge to the clinician as most of them represent similar clinical features. This present case represents one such focal enlargement of palatal aspect of maxilla.
