Acupuncture is a part of complementary and alternative medicine, originated in China more than 2500 years ago. It has wide range of applications in medicine but in dentistry there is limited information. So, this article focuses on the role of acupuncture specifically in dental sciences and to bridge the gap between knowledge and clinical practice of acupuncture.
