Abstract

Dielectric properties of engine oil and bone fatty oil are measured using a microcontroller-based system at different temperatures. In every day life, fuels/engine oils are under constant remodeling. Bovine bone fatty oil is collected from metacarpus and metatarsus bones, which is having similar properties of engine oil. It is available in large quantity in India at the price of low cost Rs 22/- only per litre. In future we may use this bone fatty oil as bio–engine oil. The paper constitutes a step towards the application of bio-engine oil for future needs.
