Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present the modeling of intelligent software agents for information gathering, forecasting and recommendation to assist Colombian trading agent in buying electricity. For this purpose artificial intelligence tools such as neural networks and fuzzy systems are involved along with software agents that in turn become in this way very strong for decision making. Here, neural networks techniques are used to forecast electricity market indicators and fuzzy systems are used to face uncertainty inherent to electrical energy market variables.
