Abstract

This paper is a study on Computer Aided Diagnosing techniques that allow detection of lung cancer nodules through the analysis of Chest images. In Computer Aided Diagnosis, two problems is to be solved to make the system a successful one. Segmentation is one of the problems to be addressed, which identifies the organ of interest and the next problem is the identification of malignant nodules. Significant researches have been made in the past years and also many techniques for detection and classification of lung nodules is given. This paper aims at reviewing different techniques for analyzing Lung images for early detection of cancer.
